I was dropping my kids off at school this morning when I noticed the sign they had posted in front of the school.

The 15 foot sign read:

“Inspiration and Genius are the same thing”

My offical response to the school and to all those who conspired to erect this sign:

“Stupid people get inspired to do stupid things like putting up a nonsensical  sign.  It doesn’t make them a genius.”

In fact, stupid people be required by law to ask a smart person if their inspired thought is worthy of action.  I can assure you that most of the time it is not.

English does not appear to be George Bush’s first…second… or even third language.

Seriously… How could you dipshits elect this man to run the USA?  I didn’t vote for him.  I told everyone he was an idiot.

SURE …. NOW you all agree.  Now that you elected him and RE-ELECTED him….  it took you 7 years to realize….

You probably have noticed by now that you get paid for every 2 weeks of work.  If the month is longer… you make more money… if it’s shorter… you make less money.  Because you get paid by the hour… or BY THE DAY.

BUT

My rent (or mortgage payment) is due BY THE MONTH.  They don’t care if it was a 28 day month and I didn’t make as much money.  Nope.  They expect to be paid just as much for a 28 period as a 31 day period.

THATS NOT FAIR.

If I check into a hotel, they charge me by the day, and I will pay less for 28 days than I would for 31 days.

CAR PAYMENT… same thing.  They want the same amount of money no matter how short the month is.   What’s up with that?  CREDIT CARD COMPANIES… same thing.

In fact…  EVERYTHING GOING OUT from me works that way… but NOT the money coming in.

House payment, car payment, electric bill, cable bill, Gym membership, garbage bill…  they all take the same on a 28 day month as a 31 day month.

BUT I HAVE 3 DAYS LESS INCOME!

I think these bills should be pro-rated.

It’s pretty simple to see that I only had 29 days of cable TV delivered to my house this Feb (leap year).  So I should be pro-rated 2 days worth.  OR, make the bill slightly less for months under 30 days, and slightly more for 31 day months.

I got a good workout today at the YMCA. I swam 20 laps and just about every muscle in my body was aching.

After my swim, I limped my sorry ass back to the showers singing the words to I’m coming out by Diana Ross. I was soaping up my hair because I am to cheap to buy shampoo when I drooped the soap. I look down, with one eye open in soap stinging pain and here’s what I see:

I still don’t know the name of the man who owns those extra pair of feet. I can tell you this. He is in a lot better shape than me, stronger than me and hung like a horse.

I will forever associate Calvin Kliene’s “Crave” with a painful rectum.

I had no idea that YMCA could remind me of prison so much.
